[Week 22] Hazel Grove CC 2nd XI vs Stalybridge St. Paul’s CC 2nd XI

Last day blues and end of season piss up. The 2016 season came to an end yesterday, with both teams playing Hazel Grove, 2nds away to league champions, Brian won the toss and decided we’d have a bowl, personally, given neither team had anything to play for, and given their obvious strong nature, I’d have had a bat, to get home to the bar earlier, but hey ho. 🙂 Despite their usual opening batter, who apparently gets their runs, dropping himself down the order, the opening pair still managed a commendable 66 partnership before Wilkinson was bowled by Pete Coxon, but … Continue reading “[Week 22] Hazel Grove CC 2nd XI vs Stalybridge St. Paul’s CC 2nd XI”
