Countdown to Season 2018

With just 8 weeks to go before the start of the new season, Tuesday night nets have been underway for the last couple of weeks, so it was time to prepare the website for the new season also; with the league’s move away from CricHQ after just one season due to poor service, and them apparently entering into receivership, it meant the return to Play-Cricket, the ECB’s own back-end system for fixtures and stats, this meant a whole new learning curve for me, to learn how to to integrate their data using JSON directly into our site, meaning the 1st … Continue reading “Countdown to Season 2018”

Who says the close season is quiet…

With the new season still 5 months away, and the Ashes Tour, only just underway, you’d expect it to be all quiet at Chez Staly, but apparently not. Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 14th November is the date for the Stalybridge St. Paul’s Cricket Club annual general meeting. If you’re available at 7:30pm for an hour or so, please make the effort and show your support by attending the clubs AGM in the players pavilion, discussing what is happening in the background at your club, and what is expected in the season ahead. Members should have already received a copy of the agenda and the secretary’s report, but if you haven’t, you can view it here.

League Tables Now Available

Corrected the link to the league tables, which were still showing the old DCCL website tables, so you should be able to find the current status of both the 1st and 2nd XI on the FIXTURES>LEAGUE TABLES link at the top of the page. The 2nd XI currently shows us with 10 points, rather than the correct 18, the league secretary is aware, and will be fixing in the next 24 hours.
